Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Associate Medical Director serves as a health-care professional capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. This role requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across departments.The Associate Medical Director has similar job duties as a Physician, focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Responsibilities include administrative oversight and outcomes for clinical providers designated to their area, maintaining medical histories and records, and referring patients to specialists as needed.Approximately 20-30% of time will be clinically focused on direct patient care, with the remaining time dedicated to administrative duties related to oversight of clinical provision of care in their area.Key Responsibilities:Supervise/manage assigned clinicians designated to the market.Manage clinician's PTO in collaboration with the Center administrator, including holiday schedules.Oversee management of CME time and reimbursement requests.Address service recovery reports (patient complaints).Provide guidance to individual clinicians regarding patient terminations in collaboration with compliance.Manage behavioral concerns pertaining to assigned clinicians.Support on-site clinicians with workflow issues.Oversee provider quality and develop workflows to close gaps in quality.Schedule at least one half-day at the clinic site for onsite visits per week.Assist with panel management and oversight of quality of assigned team members.Meet with Regional CAs and other AMD at least monthly.Participate in organizational committees as needed.Assist in ongoing chart review monitoring.Assist with recruitment and interviewing as requested.Collaborate with RMD to complete performance reviews as required.Participate as backup on call.Assist in organizing team-building activities.Maintain regular clinic hours as determined with the Regional Medical Director.Serve as a community representative for CenterWell in media and press activities.Required Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.Board Eligible or Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment.Experience leading clinical practice operations.Demonstrated high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients.Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting.Basic computer skills, including email and EMR.This role is patient-facing and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.Preferred Qualifications:Active and unrestricted DEA license.Medicaid Provider Number.Minimum of three to five years directly applicable experience preferred.Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients.Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.Additional Information:Guaranteed base salary + bonus.Excellent benefit package -

The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $241,300 - $332,000 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.Description of Benefits:
