You will be part of the Zoom Phone Monitoring team which maintains the monitoring tools and their infrastructure. This will include administering both cloud as well as on-prem systems and services. You will work with our Development and Operations teams to develop strategies for alerting and monitoring our backend and frontend services. You will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure for our monitoring tools to run on. You will help write a solution for monitoring by code. You will be responsible for maintaining the uptime of our tools and Zoom Phone services.About The Team

These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.Responsibilities

Administrating monitoring tools and infrastructureDesigning and implementing zero-downtime to accomplish a highly available service (99.999%)Designing and implementing disaster recovery (DR) between different region's DatacentersTroubleshooting production issues, including performance and function issuesWorking with vendors and engineering teams on infrastructures for security and service availabilityProviding the CI/CD model to deploy and configure the production systemParticipating with weekly on-call rotationWhat We're Looking For

Experience working within Software as a ServiceMonitor data collection and storage methods & technologiesExperience administrating open-source (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) and vendor monitoring tools (Pingdom, Pagerduty, etc.)Experience with Kubernetes, container, and other microservice technologiesExperience with Linux and writing scripts (Python, Bash, Perl, etc.) to complete monitoring tasksUnderstand CI/CD tools and integrationExperience with AWS technology including EC2, EKSExperience with DevOps and Git methodology (nice to have)Experience with Terraform/Ansible (nice to have)Experience with Oracle Cloud InfrastructureMinimum Salary Range or On Target Earnings
