You will be evangelizing the power of real-time search intelligence, selling Captify’s unique product suite to agencies and brands - from programmatic activation to strategic CMO level conversations, holding company majors to independents.ABOUT YOUYou must have extensive relationships and contacts at key brands and agencies in the Central US region. Must come with a strong sales book, eager to continue to build a business and exceed revenue goals. A hungry, hunter mentality with entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on breaking new ground for challenger brands and being well rewarded for doing so. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, data marketplaces, media buying, and advanced video/CTV solutions. Ideally, you can hold strategic conversations with both direct clients and agency stakeholders, identifying and focusing on what is most meaningful to each to create lasting partnerships. This role will be based in the Chicago area and is a remote/hybrid working environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGain expert level knowledge of all Captify solutions to establish successful new partnerships across the industry with agencies and brands.Enthusiastically present Captify’s proposition and unique capabilities to clients across various Midwest media planning/buying agencies and brands direct, with the ability to actively listen and pivot solutions tailored to each client’s needs.Manage and grow relationships within all major assigned Holdcos in Chicago and the greater Midwest territory (Detroit, Minneapolis, STL, etc).Represent Captify at industry events, conferences, mixers and local ad associations (ie CIMA, i612). Identify valuable event and sponsorship opportunities for the team across the central US region.Proactive outreach via cold emailing/calling to organise and secure meetings with prospective clients.Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements.Increase retention of clients.Encourage feedback from customers to enhance product and services.REQUIREMENTSWhat you need to be successful:Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment with quotas, owning a book of business and finding new clients in a green-field territory.Comfortable with high volume of outbound sales activity both over the phone and email.Comfortable educating and entertaining clients in and out of office in in-person scenarios.Proactive prospecting approach with excellent communication skills via email and over the phone.Passion for digital advertising and basic understanding of CTV and the programmatic ecosystem.Hunter mentality and ability to hit the ground running with new business.5+ years of sales experience within the digital media space.Experience in strategic prospecting tactics and outreach.Brand and agency network or contacts across the Central US regions.COMPENSATIONThe annual compensation range for the Sales Director role in Chicago is $130,000 - $160,000+ uncapped commission + bonus. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.
