Senior Product Manager, Hybrid Cloud Experience

The Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Experience business team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us. In this role, you will help us create the next generation of experience for emerging offerings across the Red Hat portfolio. You will guide the definition and delivery of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) capabilities with a unified customer experience across Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Application Services, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. You will synthesize inputs from customers and key business stakeholders to generate integrated roadmaps, lead release planning, and continually engage with the development teams to ensure successful releases of offerings across our portfolio.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will serve as a representative of the overall product team, and you will be expected to create confidence and excitement among customers, internal stakeholders, and the broader product team. You’ll need to have excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. This is a great opportunity to work on a fast-growing offering alongside some of the brightest minds in open source.

The candidate must work from one of our offices in Boston, MA or Raleigh, NC.

What You'll Do

Collect and document input from users, customers, cloud partners and other stakeholders to understand customer needs; develop strategy and roadmap for our offerings.Research competitive solutions, both commercial and do-it-yourself alternatives, documenting their relative strengths and weaknesses to develop competitive positioning and increase the value of our offerings in the cloud.Define market problems and opportunities and promote customer personas, user stories and business cases; document and socialize with internal and external stakeholders.Prioritize technical activities of the product team, including determining solutions priorities, planning releases and leading feature and defect grooming processes.Communicate and collaborate with strategic Red Hat partners, helping define the direction and integration opportunities for our offerings.Be responsible for overall business and fulfillment aspects of software delivery for the product unit.What You'll Bring

Experience working in product management, technical marketing, software engineering or equivalent.Experience with infrastructure software, including operating systems, containers, private cloud and public cloud.Ability to think both strategically and tactically to deliver compelling releases on a consistent schedule.Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization.Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to author blogs, develop and deliver presentations and function as a spokesperson for our offerings.Experience planning or developing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.Willingness to travel for the purposes of planning meetings, customer engagements, partner enablement, and conferences.Salary RangeThe salary range for this position is $127,890.00 - $211,180.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
