Description
A Clinical Care Partner is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. This role provides support to the GI Team by maintaining inventory, which includes chart supplies, patient educational supplies, and daily unit supplies. Responsibilities also include performing basic patient care skills, following infection control practices, assisting in transfers, and transporting patients before and after procedures. Additionally, the Clinical Care Partner cleans gurneys and prepares them for use. They will assist with Scope transfers between the Scope Processing room and procedural areas. Within the scope of practice, the Clinical Care Partner takes vital signs, transports specimens, transports GI scopes, and cleans scope bins. Any pertinent information must be reported to the Registered Nurse.Hourly Salary:
$25.30 - $33.35Qualifications
Active California Certified Nursing Assistant OR current enrollment in a state-approved nursing school program, with a minimum of one completed Medical/Surgical rotation - requiredBLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association - requiredHigh School Diploma - required
