A law firm in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a dedicated Patent Agent to assist clients in procuring patent protection for innovative technologies and contribute to the development of robust intellectual property portfolios.Duties:Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications for various technologies.Conduct due diligence, landscape analysis, freedom-to-operate, and validity assessments.Prepare responses to patent application rejections from USPTO and other global Patent Offices.Support patent litigation efforts as needed.Establish and maintain internal procedures for patent-related information and deadlines.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in patent prosecution.Registration with the USPTO.Industry experience in Software Development/Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Semiconductor Manufacturing & Packaging preferred.Skills:Advanced writing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in research and analytical thinking.Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening or weekend work.Certifications:Registered Patent Agent with the USPTO.Company info:BCG Attorney Search200 South Wacker Drive, 31st FloorChicagoIllinoisUnited States 60606Phone:
