The role will need to operate proactively to support day-to-day privacy operation matters globally.ResponsibilitiesAct as primary contact for all privacy queries for the Americas region.Support Moody’s Global Privacy Program, including external-facing privacy disclosures, regulatory notifications, customer and vendor contracts, and internal-facing policies.Advise on routine business queries, such as disclosing employee data, direct marketing campaigns, and data incidents.Review and advise on emerging data privacy laws in the Americas region.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school, strong academic credentials, and admission to at least one state bar association.At least eight years of relevant experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a financial services or technology company.Expert knowledge of US state and federal privacy laws.For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $141,000 - $204,450, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package.Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer.
