The Department of Radiation Oncology at UCLA is seeking a medical dosimetrist to join our team of medical physicists and dosimetrists. Our department uses cutting-edge radiation therapy techniques and technologies to provide exceptional patient care. We treat with advanced machines such as TrueBeams, TrueBeam STx, NovalisTx, Varian Ethos, Accuray Tomo HD, and ViewRay MRIdian, along with an active interstitial HDR brachytherapy program. Treatment planning is conducted using various systems and software. As part of the Medical Physics Division, medical dosimetrists handle SBRT, IMRT, 3D conformal, total body irradiation, and HDR brachytherapy treatment planning. They collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists to support treatment simulation, quality control, and participate in departmental quality initiatives and process improvements.If you have a passion for advancing patient care, pushing the boundaries of innovation, and contributing to a collaborative team dedicated to excellence, we would love to have you join us.
