This is an opportunity for a leader to build an organization to maximize sales in a fully digital, fully remote environment.This position is a leader of leaders, responsible for managing remote teams of internal sales agents and developing strategic initiatives to drive the company's success. You will actively contribute to the organization’s growth plans, ensuring the achievement of strategic and operational goals.What You Will DoProvide Visionary Leadership: Lead and build the internal sales team with a focus on proper staffing, training, and development. Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Develop Strategic Plans: Partner with the VP of Insurance P&C Sales to develop long-range strategic plans. Anticipate industry trends and operational needs, such as automation and staffing, and implement best practices.Develop technology and processes to enable quick and efficient lead routing and quick response time to member inquiries from Insurance sales professionals.Monitor and Improve Performance: Regularly review sales productivity reports, customer satisfaction surveys, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement. Utilize dashboards to track performance and drive data-informed decisions.Ensure Consistency and Excellence: Work to ensure operational consistency across the internal sales team, focusing on productivity and excellent customer service. Collaborate with leadership to develop internal policies and procedures and identify improvement opportunities.Stay Informed on Industry Changes: Keep abreast of regulatory changes and licensing requirements. Ensure the sales team is well-trained and equipped to meet customer needs.Manage Budget: Work with the VP of Insurance Sales to develop the annual budget, set sales goals, and monitor expenditures for budget compliance.Integration & Collaboration: Coordinate closely to ensure a seamless and consistent sales strategy across both internal and field sales teams. Develop joint metrics and dashboards to monitor overall sales performance and identify opportunities for cross-functional improvements. Collaborate on training programs to ensure consistent messaging, product knowledge, and sales techniques across all teams. Partner on marketing and promotional campaigns to ensure cohesive communication and maximize impact.QualificationsWhat you need:Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred with ten plus years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of related training/education and experience required.10+ years of sales experience. Experience in and knowledge of the call center industry is critical.5-10 years of experience in managing digital leads and optimizing a sales team to respond to digital leads.Change management experience and the ability to lead a team through business transformation is highly desirable.Experience defining and enabling digital tools and initiatives to drive sales growth.Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data to identify insights, and solve problems.Expertise in systems thinking including implementations, test/learn scenarios, and establishing/adapting systems and processes to scale.P&C and / or Life Insurance knowledge is preferred, but not necessary.P&C and / or Life Insurance license preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.Salary:

The pay range for this position in Providence, RI is $177,000 - $206,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Annual bonuses are some of the additional forms of compensation offered.
