Peak Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR & Talent Partner to join our dynamic People team. This dual-role position will encompass HR and Recruitment responsibilities and is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their HR career while gaining valuable experience. Key responsibilities are included below, but past experience with all of them is not required. You will play a key role in supporting our HR initiatives, hiring talent into the organization, and contributing to the overall employee experience.Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

Develop and maintain Employee Handbook, internal Employee resources, and company policies and procedures in Confluence and Microsoft SharePoint, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.Support the onboarding process for new hires, including all system updates, preparing orientation materials, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating smooth integration into the company.Support the benefits enrollment process, answer employee questions regarding benefits, and assist in benefits administration.Maintain accurate employee records, update HR databases, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Organize team-building activities, company events, and recognition programs.Support and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization and assist in developing DEI programs and training.Assist with labor law compliance and employment regulations, such as FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, and EEO requirements.Assist with preparing required compliance reports to government agencies and maintain records for affirmative action, workplace safety, and equal opportunity employment.Support workplace health and safety programs, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that the work environment is safe for all employees in coordination with safety officers.Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, diversity, and employee engagement levels.

Recruitment:

Assist Head of People and Talent Lead with interview scheduling.As need arises, support recruitment for junior and mid-level positions, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.Utilize various sourcing methods to identify and attract top talent.Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.Assist in the preparation of job offers and coordinate the offer process with candidates, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including creating job descriptions, engaging with candidates on social media, and participating in job fairs and recruitment events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.1-4 years of experience in human resources or recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and driving positive environmental impact through technology innovation.Eligibility to work in the U.S.At Peak Energy Technologies Inc., we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace makes us a more capable, innovative, and competitive company.
