The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Maintain Shared UI Framework: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain a shared UI framework that provides unified UI components across multiple Android applications.Enhance User Interface Components: Create and optimize UI components, transitions, interactions, and animations to ensure a seamless user experience.Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with design, product, and other engineering teams to implement and fine-tune user interface elements.Code Review and Best Practices: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold best practices to ensure high-quality code.Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring that the UI framework is highly efficient and scalable.Documentation and Training: Document frameworks, guidelines, and best practices, and provide training and support to other team members.Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in Android development, particularly in UI/UX, and apply this knowledge to continually improve the shared UI framework.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Proficient in Java and KotlinStrong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizesExperience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesExperience coding in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, KotlinPreferred Qualifications:Experience with motion layout, transitions, and animations in Android.Familiarity with Android’s Jetpack components.Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Espresso.Knowledge of performance testing and optimization techniquesTikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
