is seeking a highly-motivated Associate with 0-3 years of experience to join its Business & Corporate Section in its Baltimore, Maryland office, with a primary focus in environmental law and supporting effort in corporate and real estate law.Qualified candidates must have a desire to practice environmental law, have excellent academic credentials (with environmental law coursework), exceptional verbal/written communication skills, highly-developed research capabilities, and exhibit a strong desire to learn. The successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to an entrepreneurial, collegial, and collaborative work environment and should be self-directed.Must be admitted or willing to become admitted to practice law in the state of Maryland.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advising on environmental regulatory compliance issues, due diligence, and interacting with regulators/regulated entities in enforcement actions and related matters, whether for governmental or private clients, is preferred.Experience litigating government compliance or other environmental matters is beneficial.A bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field and/or technical work experience is a real plus.Contact Carrie Balsam, Recruiting & Development Assistant Manager, at
