We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Tax Manager

specializing in Tax and Compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing tax compliance and accounting functions in a fast-paced, highly acquisitive environment. This role will also involve capitalization table management and ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and other relevant jurisdictions.Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize tax liabilities.Financial Reporting: Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.Audit Support: Manage tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and responses.Cap Table Management: Oversee and manage the company’s cap table, ensuring accuracy and compliance with equity distribution.International Taxation: Handle international tax issues, including transfer pricing, tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and tax regulations, staying updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax and compliance activities.Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, legal, and external auditors.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.4-6 years of experience in tax accounting.Strong knowledge of U.S. and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.Experience with cap table management and equity distribution.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.Other Information:

This role is primarily remote (preference for those around Chicago, IL or Columbus, OH or San Francisco, CA).
