Our fun, open and innovative culture is supported by forward thinking industry leaders who are united in collaboration and the pursuit of breakthrough ideas.Gilbert Mechanical is seeking a Low Voltage Division Manager candidate with experience designing and overseeing the installation of complex fire alarm, security, and nurse call systems for a variety of customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the service and construction sectors of the division. The candidate will need to be proficient in job estimating, job design, project management, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills are a necessity to work effectively with other team members as well as owners and architects.ResponsibilitiesDirect and supervise activities of Gilbert’s Low Voltage DivisionEstimate and sell low voltage work for commercial customersDesign and build systems per NFPA and all electrical standardsEnsure that all jobs are completed to the customer’s satisfactionManage, plan, and coordinate projects to optimize the use of labor, materials, equipment and toolsSecure subcontractors using standard subcontract agreementsSurvey job sites as neededEmploy latest electrical codes, technology, techniques and practicesRespond to customer service callsFollow all guidelines, policies and procedures established by the Company.Qualifications:Education: Two (2) year technical degree or similar experience in the low voltage/fire alarm construction field.NICET IV required.CAD skills a plus.Successful candidates will possess:Results oriented, competitive, customer-service oriented mind setGood knowledge of fire alarm/life safety construction industryStrong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-taskAbility to work as a team with a positive attitude and professional customer service skillsEffective communication, troubleshooting, and problem solving skillsProficient with MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and accounting softwareProficient with Accubid estimating programValid driver’s license required.We are unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this position.Health and Welfare BenefitsHealth and WelfareMedicalVisionEmployee assistance programPersonal BenefitsPaid vacationCompany-paid holidaysSick leave401(k) retirement savings planCompany-paid long-term disability insuranceAD&D insuranceLife insuranceAbout LegenceLegence, a Blackstone portfolio company, is an Energy Transition Accelerator that provides advisory services and implementation focused on financing, designing, building, and servicing complex systems in mission-critical and high performance facilities.
