We're a cross functional team that worked across business, product, engineering and machine learning. We've combined over 20 years of experience working in education and have worked at Coursera, Google, Robinhood, Meta, Teach for America, Stanford, Snowflake, Palantir etc. We're currently building the founding team. You will have a massive impact shaping the experience of the product from the ground up. Help us define the next generation of online education.Responsibilities

Build new user-facing feature and Design foundational aspects of the education platform and its interface with learners.Work on cutting edge AI with LLMs on projects like an AI tutor, AI augmented course creation and take the opportunity to rethink every element of the teaching and learning experience with AI.Own features end-to-end, and become an expert on domains across the product (e.g. payments, emails, the student portal, live session experience, chat and community, analytics, developer tools).Land after launching — ensure our learnings from past projects are brought along to future ones.Redefine best-in-class software development processes so that we can build an opinionated product.Work next to product managers, designers, customer success managers and sales team members to build great experiences to delight our students and instructors.Background

Experience in building and shipping AI / ML products is required.Experience of Software development in one or more of the general purpose programming languages: Javascript, Typescript, Go, Python, Java, etc.Expertise in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.Ability to communicate cross-functionally with customers, technical teams, and management.We have an office in San Mateo, California where the engineering team goes in a few times a week to collaborate and work together.
