Ascend is looking for a full-time, pediatric-passionate
Speech Language Pathologist
to provide therapy services to children in the Santa Clara area in a school setting!We offer mentorship/support and the ability to learn, grow, and make a difference to our school-based team that serves hundreds of kids across CA.Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs- Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech and language skills- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and educators, to develop comprehensive care plans- Provide guidance and support to clients' families and caregivers- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client's progress and treatment outcomesRequirements:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology- Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailPlease note that this position may involve case management duties.BENEFITS:- Highly competitive salary with a sign-on bonus- Premium health, dental, and vision plans; 401k with employer match, FSA, Life and Disability insurance- PTO accrual and paid holidays beginning your first day- Reimbursement for CEUs, license fees, professional dues, CPR/first aid certification, and insurance costs- Online and physical resources such as subscriptions to Boardmaker, TPT, SLP Toolkit, and assessment kits for SLPs/SLPAs/CFs- Orientation Training for New SLPs and Clinical Supervisors- Mentorship Programs- Student Loan Pay-Down Program- Other unique perks and compensation- H1-B/ Visa Sponsorship OpportunitiesQUALIFICATIONS:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)- Must have or be eligible for a CA State SLP LicenseContact David at (510) 362-0835 or email careers@ascendrehabinc.comJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekWork Location: In person
