Position Summary

Mavely’s Sales Director will be responsible for working with brands to understand their needs and utilize the Mavely platform to build lasting and profitable relationships. In this role you must be a true hunter who enjoys the art of prospecting and the joy of closing new business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about being a trusted strategic partner. You will build strong and long-lasting relationships with our customers and your efforts will be rewarded with an aggressive compensation plan. This is a 100% new business focused individual contributor sales role with a rapidly growing influencer marketing platform.Essential Functions

Establish relationships and sell the Mavely solution to mid-large brands.Manage all sales outreach, pipeline, CRM activity and proposal delivery in an efficient and professional manner. Represent Mavely at industry events and in-person meetings with integrity.Generate a minimum number of sales meetings and proposals.Focus and build relationships within the CPG, Retail and Shopper Marketing segments while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.Ensure healthy customer retention and expansion through consultative partnership.Collect and share product feedback throughout the Mavely company.Be an exemplary ambassador for Mavely, both internally and externally.Work closely with leadership, marketing, and operations to ensure successful client relationships.Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.Collaborate with Mavely leadership and customer success team on customer upsells, contract renewals, client satisfaction and retention.Follow up on leads and contacts derived from various marketing activities and events.Be available for travel to trade shows, client meetings and internal meetings when needed.Any other duties assigned by management.Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.7+ years of influencer, ad tech, or social media sales experience.7+ years of quota-carrying sales closing experience with a track record of over-performance.Successful track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions with Fortune 1000 clients.Strong relationships within CPG brands and the ability to manage a consultative sales process.Experience on a fast-growing sales team with a preference for hypergrowth and product-led companies.Experience in selling complex marketing solutions and ability to adapt in fast-growing and changing environments.Knowledge & Skill Requirements

Strong knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Team Player.Ability to maintain and create templates on DocuSign and Adobe.Ability to assume responsibility & exercise good judgment when making decisions within the scope of the position.Ability to perform the job safely & with respect for others, for property, & for individual safety.Our Benefits & Perks:
