Our client, a high-growth e-commerce company with over 250 employees, is looking for a part-time Accounting Manager to join their Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and team management. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial records, as well as contributing to the overall success of the finance department.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the finance department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing explanations and recommendations as needed. Manage and optimize cash flow to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance Highly collaborative temperament, proven communication skills, and demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong understanding of the financial cycle and month-end close process. Retail/Sales industry experience is a plus $93,000 - $115,000 a year #J-18808-Ljbffr
