Please note that this position is based in San Diego, CA. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.This position will be a key leader within the Strategic Finance organization, leading the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Position will manage all ongoing corporate planning processes, support best in class decision support, and coach/develop team. Position requires close collaboration with cross-functional operational leadership as well as the executive team.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage all corporate planning process including annual operating plan, long range plan, sum-of-the-parts, monthly reporting, quarterly earnings call support, and board of directors materialsCoordinate organizational alignment on resource allocation and strategyCoach and develop FP&A team, providing expertise and guidance across functional areasCommunicate real-time changes in assumptions and business trends to leadership. Develop, evolve, and publish regular KPI/metric reporting to track results and identify trendsManage consolidation of financial statements forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)Maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail in consolidation of corporate reportingDevelop gross-to-net forecast for all product lines, with extensive understanding of payer mix, discount structures by entity, and regulatory changesSustain and improve ERP systems and integration with other corporate systemsOversee industry benchmarking and peer set monitoringBuild strong relationships and develop insights with other functions within Strategic Finance team, Accounting, cross functional partners, and executive managementEducation/Experience/Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics. CPA/CFA/MBA preferred10-12 years of experience in corporate finance, banking, or consulting. Biotech or healthcare industry experience required. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered.Industry specific experience, with extensive understanding of Revenue forecasting, Commercial operations, clinical development, and portfolio managementStrong track record of team building and managerial responsibilityUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to work in a results-oriented, project-driven, real-time team environment, prioritize projects and deliver quality results within tight time constraintsRecord of problem solving through data analysis and cross-functional partnershipHigh level of curiosity and internal drive for resultsAbility to be deeply involved in daily operations of the company, not simply view from afarAbility to anticipate issues, ensure data integrity and accuracy of details while being capable of higher-level interpretation and explanationOutstanding communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience operating with candid transparency, professionalism, strong emotional intelligence, and the highest degree of integrityExperience with NetSuite and Workday Adaptive Planning a plusPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment.
