Associate Professor In-ResidenceUCSF Department of DermatologyThe Department of Dermatology of the University of California at San Francisco is seeking to appoint a new faculty member at the Associate Professor level to establish a research program focused on understanding the mechanisms of tumor initiation and progression by oncogenes, with the goal of identifying therapeutic targets for patients with cancer, particularly melanoma. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for mentoring and teaching scholars and students. The appointee will be given laboratory space in 2340 Sutter at the Mount Zion campus of UCSF and will be a member of the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program.Requirements:Candidates are required to hold a PhD, or MD/PhD degree, and to have demonstrated achievement in their field at the time of appointment.
