Chief of Staff

to our organization.

Working in direct coordination with the National Director and CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN), and as a member of the Executive Team, the Chief of Staff will serve in a strategic capacity overseeing programmatic efforts and operational initiatives, managing internal projects and personnel, as well as supporting external partnerships. The Chief of Staff will identify areas for enhanced productivity, collaboration, and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Serve as a strategic advisor to the National Director and CEO.

Develop, implement, and advance policies and initiatives designed to further the organization's mission.

Act as liaison between staff and senior leadership regarding strategic and operational objectives.

Build and develop relationships with staff for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness for existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with National Director and CEO, as well as Executive Team, on special projects.

Manage efforts related to Board of Directors engagement, to include meeting preparation and ongoing communications.

Oversee daily operations through collaboration with relevant staff and stakeholders in order to manage and prioritize organizational objectives.

Manage strategic planning efforts and lead efforts related to development, identification, and oversight of personnel and operational performance metrics.

Plan regular all-staff updates, to include in-person retreats, to align organizational efforts and objectives.

Create and develop collateral materials, reports, proposals, and correspondence - often on behalf of the National Director and CEO - for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives.

Prepare written materials, document processes, and communicate effectively.

Perform administrative and technical support responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of five (5) years of full-time professional work experience in Project Management or Planning.

Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. Master's degree strongly preferred.

Stellar organizational skills and attention to detail.

Extremely versatile and agile, dedicated to efficiency and productivity.

Demonstrated aptitude for cross-functional project coordination and management.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, as well as verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization and handle multiple tasks over an extended period of time in a self-directed manner.

Ability to receive and process sensitive intelligence and information.

Ability to travel as needed.

Skilled in Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills in an Apple environment.
