Put your career into high gear by joining Klinedinst’s largest office in San Diego.Klinedinst PC is seeking a qualified Paralegal who will join our team with at least 5 years of experience working in a litigation support role with knowledge of the litigation process. As a Paralegal, you will work independently as well as develop working relationships within a team environment. This position will work directly with our attorneys to prepare for upcoming cases and get involved in fact-finding projects. The ideal candidate needs to be organized, professional, and committed to meeting our clients’ needs.Responsibilities

Prepare and draft legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, discovery, record summaries, and subpoenas.Conduct research to prepare cases accordingly.Prepare summaries and organize document files for discovery and trial.Research and analyze legal resources such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, etc.Provide case management and organization from inception; discovery, trial, and post-trial support. Review and analyze documents for production.Prepare and process pre-trial and document subpoenas and coordinate complex discovery on cases.Direct and coordinate activities of legal secretaries, records clerks, and services clerks on complex projects.Record billable time on client matters.Coordinate the delivery of records to various interested parties including co-counsel and experts.Pay range: $41.35 - $44.71 per hour.We provide support in a friendly, team-oriented environment that allows for immediate responsibility and growth potential. Pay ranges are provided in compliance with SB1162, California’s pay transparency law; actual pay may vary based on a variety of factors, including education, applicable experience, etc.Qualifications

A certificate of completion of a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association.3+ years’ experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm, business litigation, or IP litigation support experience preferred.Experience with Relativity eDiscovery software preferred.Strong experience with discovery, arbitrations, and trials in complex cases.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.Westlaw and/or Lexis/Nexis experience preferred.Thorough understanding of federal and local procedures in California state and federal courts.This job requires regular attendance to the office for the first 180 days; however, as a dynamic culture, we embrace opportunities for hybrid working arrangements when eligible.Please submit your resume today.
