We immerse our employees in a hard-working, collegial and cooperative culture with the opportunity to become a shareholder in the firm.Responsibilities:Provide oversight, manage and execute deliverables for client engagement projects from various investor-owned utilities and other client types.Provide a wide range of services required in prudence evaluations, including document review and analysis, written testimony, litigation support, and live testimony in hearings.Evaluate and provide testimony on various prudence issues related to energy and gas pipelines, including those at the FERC level.Assist clients in managing coordination between FERC requirements and regulations and those of other federal and state agencies to minimize duplication and create efficiencies.Provide economic analysis, right of way planning, rate case filing and cost estimates for utility clients.Assist with business development opportunities and building new and existing utility client relationships.Frequently evaluate the performance of existing offerings, recommending adjustments or enhancements to optimize consulting market share.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Economics, Math, Finance, or Accounting.Master’s Degree, MBA or PhD preferred.10+ years’ experience in the energy utility space, either at a consulting firm, a utility, a public utilities commission, or a Big 4 Accounting firm, or similar organizations.Proven ability to generate consulting services sales and direct team-based business development tasks.Proven experience in leading the ideation, design, and implementation of new service offerings.Experience writing or providing expert witness testimony for utility rate cases or other utility regulatory proceedings.Very strong communication and presentation skills, including Microsoft Office suite.Must be able to present complex ideas and strategies to utility leadership.Requires occasional travel to client sites and regulatory hearings, typically throughout the US and Canada.Depending on the level hired, the base salary for this role will typically start at $200,000 plus annual incentive compensation bonus.We are looking for employees who are collegial and collaborative, enjoy working in a team environment, and have the ability to operate independently.
