We are backed by legendary VCs and industry experts like Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue.We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Finance Lead to join our small but mighty team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast paced environment, and loves organizing. This role will pay an integral role in coordinating and executing various People and Office processes and will work cross functionally with other teams across the organization.Responsibilities:Drive end-to-end financial planning and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting, actuals vs. budget variance analysis, identifying key drivers etc.Own, maintain and build on our internal operating model, including headcount and operating expense tracking and modellingDrive ad-hoc analyses, business cases and scenario analyses to influence investment decisions, business strategy and making recommendations for changeSupport month-end close process, working together with Accounts Payables and AccountingCollaborate closely with business partners to review financial performance and implement scalable processes for managing finance requestsFacilitate deal negotiations with vendors and partners, including financial analysis.Prepare presentations and maintain regular communication cadence with internal and external stakeholdersAssist teams with other ad-hoc projects, analysis and reportingServe as a thought leader by keeping up to speed on the latest FP&A best practices and available systems and toolsWhat we are looking for:2+ years of experience within an FP&A/Finance role2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity or venture capital is a plusBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or other quantitative fieldExcellent analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to independently design model solutionsRobust ability and experience in building three-statement financial models and a thorough understanding of accounting principlesStrong attention to detail (without getting lost in them)Structured and strategic thinking and the ability to tell the story/draw insights and conclusions from the dataEffective communication skills, able to partner with colleagues at all levels and strong presentation skillsSelf-starter with an ownership mentality, who is proactive, intellectually curious, and not afraid to seek out projects independentlyAdditional InformationWorkstream provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
