Links Global has a great opportunity for an experienced Creative Director with 8 years of management and hands-on multimedia experience inclusive of concept development, illustration, graphic design, web development, photography, and videography. The Creative Director should be knowledgeable in key software such as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and MS Office and have a degree in design or a related field. The Creative Director should have experience in managing and directing small teams of 3-5 people in the areas of publishing, printing, audiovisual, and mailing operations. Candidates should be sure to highlight any experience they have in communications on public health topics and government in general.Key Role and Responsibilities:
Directs and manages a small team of multimedia specialists and a copywriter/editor and manages creative and administrative responsibilities for a publishing, printing, and mail operations unit.Plans and manages the creative process in its entirety while performing an array of multimedia production activities to support communication programs for a variety of government and private sector clients.Primary functions include planning, coordination, managing, implementation and evaluation of art design, graphic design, photography, editorial, and audiovisual products and services.Applies agency and industry best practices in design concepts, guidelines, and practices.Directs art design and creates imagery for a variety of campaigns.Presents and sells concepts to clients.Ensures deliverables comply with copyright, trademark laws, branding guidelines, and Section 508 requirements.Proofreads and provides final quality control for all products.Manages all paperwork and processes for the agency in printing and publishing through the GPO.Participates in company-wide business development and marketing activities. The position may require occasional domestic and international travel.Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in arts, design, film and video, communications, or a related field.8 years experience in managing media products and projects.8 years experience in the arts with well-rounded knowledge in print, digital, and multimedia.Understanding all aspects of the multimedia process, from creation and design to distribution.Demonstrated ability to work tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments, and work well with other interdisciplinary teams.Proven record of customer satisfaction, detail-oriented and extremely organized.Exceptional communication and writing and editorial ability.Experience using: Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, MS Office, and project management software.Candidates must provide work samples of multimedia projects via web.Wage: hourly rate based on $100,000 per year.A federal suitability investigation is required.
