Director of Restaurants ! Ideally situated on California’s Central Coastline, directly across from pristine beaches, the resort offers spacious guest rooms and suites, ample amenities including spa, fitness center, pool, close to 63,000 in meeting space and 6 delicious dining options. Steps away from bike trails, winery tours, local arts district, the Funk Zone and historic downtown, the resort is the perfect location for our guests to experience Santa Barbara.A Director of Restaurants is responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of multiple restaurants in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.What will I be doing?As a Director of Restaurants, you would be responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of multiple restaurants in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitationMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewardMonitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordinglyEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standardsInitiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wideRecruit, interview and train team membersWhat are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
