The Role

As a

Supply Chain Operations & Logistics leader, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, from inbound to outbound, partnering with 3PLs

& leading the materials organization from receiving, putting away, material delivery to the line, and inventory control, ensuring on-time production, and coordinating with various departments to achieve operational efficiency and meet customer demands. You will work hand in hand with the Procurement leader and the Business operations & planning leader to ensure a solid and highly efficient supply chain to support Veev’s internal customers.

This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of material management processes.

Responsibilities

Using Lean principles, design, develop, and implement solutions for improving end-to-end material flows from supplier receipt to lineside delivery.Develop a strong inventory control process and collaborate heavily with finance.Define clear roles and responsibilities for the materials department.Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal inventory levels. Manage the cycle count program to monitor and maintain inventory accuracy.Build upon the current logistics organization and solid foundation for inbound and outbound logistics.Create service level agreements on kiting material to Fabrication and Field operations.Investigate and plan the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering the nature of goods, cost, required transit time, and safety concerns.Communicate internally any known or potential issues that could affect production or shipments, confer with cross-functional teams to assess progress, and discuss needed plans of action to meet schedule commitments.Develop and execute on process improvements to support manufacturing and field operations, as well as internal warehouse processes. driving the material flow and manufacturing execution.Lead, manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors,

logistics specialists, and WHS / Materials teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution and logistics experience desirable4+ years of leadership experienceExpert in ERP/MRP systems (Preferably Netsuite) and MES systems experienceMasters in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or similar discipline or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional abilityExperience in creating, updating, and managing Bill of Materials (BOM)Expertise leading a cross-functional SIOP process; proficiency in demand planning, capacity, supply, and inventory planning.Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably working with medium-to-high volume products) with knowledge & experience in converting and communicating product demand requirements into detailed plans and schedules for inventory acquisition.Experience in Production Planning & Master Scheduling.Ability to clearly communicate to all levels within the organization.Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills.

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $215,000 - $235,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
