Writing pages and producing novel length manuscripts used to publish on Galatea and GalateaTVStoryboarding and collaborating on novel ideation in a writer’s room environmentReading and adapting existing content to improve them and make them more marketable and profitableAnalyzing data and interpreting trends to improve our storiesApplying data based learnings creatively to your writingCollaborating with other departments at the company (marketing, product, data science, etc.) as necessary to ensure the best possible productSpeaking with our users and getting active feedback from them weekly on how they enjoy the app and our stories so we can improve on themKeep an active pulse on what’s popular and what’s working in the industryMove quickly in a fast paced environment that may require priority shifts and dropping or picking up new assignmentsWho you are:
Startup hungry; you excel in a fast-paced, scrappy environment and you welcome new challengesCommitted to building an in-person work culture; you prefer a hybrid work modelA minimum of 2 years experience with screenwriting, creative writing, or working in writer’s rooms or similar environmentsYou love working with data; Story Intelligence is all about creativity and data!Experience with data analysis or tracking marketing trendsYou have a pulse on BookTok and trends in the publishing industrySkilled at detecting trends and possesses a laser-focused analytical skill setAble to apply logical data-driven findings and transform them into creative prose on the page to improve reader engagements with storiesEffective communicator: both written and verbal to communicate with creators from all walks of life, across time zones, from different backgrounds and environmentsAble to prioritize competing tasks and manage constant changeCommitted to their work and takes ownership for all of their tasksAlways looking to grow and learn by taking on new challengesWhat we offer:
