As a Proto Mining Product Manager, you will:Enable chip sales and new mining applications by defining and driving the future of our Mining Development Kit, as well as contributing to our mining rig products, in close collaboration with our Field Applications Engineering team and others across hardware and software engineering, sales, and operations.Understand customer pain points, gather customer insights, and conduct competitive analyses to inform product definition and provide feedback to our chip and system design teams.Work closely with our Hardware Engineering Program Managers to drive the product development process from concept to launch.Define requirements, clarify implementation details, and make strategic, technical, and design tradeoff decisions as needed.Effectively communicate product tradeoffs, updates, and priorities to internal stakeholders including senior leadership.Work closely with marketing to develop product messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.Contribute to strategy and longer-term vision for our mining products in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.Bring transparency and open development to the mining industry by sharing our work and inviting scrutiny.Qualifications

You Have:8+ years of professional experience.Demonstrated success enabling chip or system sales through product definition, marketing, or sales efforts.Technical background in silicon and systems - you’ve probably been in an FAE role at some point in your career.Consistent emphasis on and empathy for customer needs.Bias to action – if it needs doing, you’re already working on it, and with the right level of scrappiness for the task.Bonus: experience with renewable energy, heating, or bitcoin mining systems.Bonus: experience defining and productizing software APIs of any kind.Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
