Our Client, a pioneering cannabis genetics company, is looking for a Brand Manager in Chatsworth, California.

Salary Range:

$90-$120k+ (flexible/based on experience)

Responsibilities:Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams such as Product Development, Demand/Material Planning, Fulfillment, and others to ensure seamless forecasting, purchasing, delivery, and product introduction across all markets.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Marketing Team, including Graphic Designers, Videographers, and Brand Coordinators, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals.Marketing Strategy Execution: Develop and implement marketing strategies, coordinate campaigns, and monitor performance metrics.Project Management: Oversee and coordinate projects related to product launches, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives, defining project scopes, timelines, and deliverables. Manage resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Data-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with Business Analysts and Customer Service to analyze sales, returns, and customer inquiries, sharing insights with the team to guide sales reporting and strategic planning.Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of products, from launch to phase-out, ensuring high sell-through, continuity of new releases, and strong profit margins. Develop strategies for pricing, reorders, and product disposition.E-commerce Strategy Development: Create and execute E-commerce strategies, including product merchandising, photoshoot organization, SEO optimization, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and social media planning.Content Creation: Work with Brand Coordinators to develop website content, including photography, video materials, and product copy, particularly for new product launches.Retail Coordination: Advise retail locations on visual merchandising, product assortment, replenishment strategies, and overall planning to optimize the retail experience.Global Product Launches: Coordinate global product launches with Licensing and Sales teams, ensuring a cohesive and synchronized approach across markets.Sales Channel Expansion: Lead efforts to expand sales channels, including partnerships with third-party distributors, licensees, retail locations, e-commerce platforms, and potential product partnerships.Market Research: Conduct market research to inform launch strategies, define target audiences, and guide pricing discussions, ensuring data-driven decisions.Performance Measurement: Define and develop KPIs and metrics to evaluate the success of product launches, marketing campaigns, and ongoing activities.Go-To-Market Strategy: Develop and activate long-term positioning, messaging, vision, and go-to-market strategies for products or feature enhancements, aligning with company goals.Opportunity Identification: Utilize growth insights and measurement data to develop business cases for new opportunities, leveraging market trends to drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

5+ years of Brand ManagementExperience in the consumer packaged goods industry preferred.Bachelor's Degree in English, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and demonstrate flexibility.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe InDesign.Experience with CRM systems is preferred.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for graphic design.Proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and complete tasks independently.Experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating on marketing strategies.Creative, resourceful, and able to work accurately under tight deadlines.
