for a Commercial Lines Sales Representative is $23 - $25 / hour + bonus incentives

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Sales Representative in one of our local branches. This position would focus on servicing an existing book of business, advising clients on coverages, and completing endorsements, cancelations, and policy issuance. This position focuses on service and sales, as we encourage our Sales Representatives to cross-sell and up-sell accounts. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial insurance servicing either in the carrier or agency space. The selected individual for this role will have excellent people skills, organizational skills, and a drive to provide high customer service. The candidate will ultimately support the efforts of our Agency Sales Staff.

Manage an assigned existing book of business, focusing on growth and retention. The Commercial Lines Sales Rep. will routinely conduct consultative conversations with our clients and prospects to ensure all coverage needs are addressedDevelop, quote and sell Commercial Insurance to new and existing clientsWork within designated timelines to provide superior customer service to retain our clients, as well as referrals and new business opportunitiesResponsibilities for processing endorsements and creating insurance documents as neededEstablish and maintain professional relationships with carriers and clientsOur Ideal Candidate:

High school or equivalentProperty & Casualty license2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in insurance sales2+ years of experience in commercial insurance, having basic knowledge of general liability, workers’ compensation, auto, and propertyProven track record of the ability to generate new business sales, retain existing business, and cross-sell other lines of businessExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work well independently and on a teamPrecise verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to deliver a tailored, white-glove experience to all clientsPreferred Attributes:

Bachelor’s Degree or 1+ year(s) of relevant sales experienceFluency in Spanish is welcome but not required
