About the role...
We are currently looking for customer-focused & energetic Regional Sales Managers. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and executing sales opportunities to support the company's sales and profit goals, be responsible for managing the division's regional sales channels and overseeing the sales growth strategies in the assigned region for all products and markets. You will be the technical subject matter expert and participate in customer demonstrations.
What you will do...
Achieve sales goals for both new product and serviceExpand Terra Sonic International's customer base, selling to new and existing key/target accountsTravel into territory to support achieving sales goals and customer support goals. This may include customer presentations, on-site support, cold calls, working with / developing representatives and strategic partners, and expeditingProvide technical support to customers in the form of innovative and cost-effective design proposalsUtilize Salesforce and other selling tools to manage accounts and to find new accountsManage a territory of accounts as the primary contact for prospecting new accounts and developing existing accounts. Act as project manager for these accounts from product selection through order shipmentExpectations are to work from home office approximately 25% of time to support planning, target marketing, customer satisfaction, and communication to customer, and be traveling in the territory a minimum of 50% of the time (estimated 100 overnight stays per year)Maintain an aggressive travel scheduleOur ideal candidate will have...
3+ years experience in Industrial and/or heavy equipment retail sales5+ years experience in the drilling industryProficient in MS Office and Google platformProficiency using SalesforceAbility to travel within a territory and work flexible hours as well as work in various environmental conditionsPossess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all customers and leaders at all levelsProven ability to effectively market products, negotiate terms and close dealsSelf-starter, proactive, strategic thinker, and resourcefulEffective organizational, time management and priority-setting skills to complete numerous tasks under time constraintsValid driver's license and must meet insurance driving requirementsPhysical ability to climb in and out of vehicles and equipment used for demonstration purposes
