Position Type: Maintenance/Operations/Electrician Date Posted: 8/9/2024 Location: Darlington County Schools Description : Electrician 260-day position Salary: $41,038 base salary (based on verified experience) Location: District Available: Immediately Qualifications: High School diploma or high school equivalent Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License Demonstrate knowledge in reading blueprints Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as an electrician Five (5) or more years of experience in electrical work Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: "At-will" Employee Responsible To: Director of Operations Job Duties: Install and provide general maintenance of all electrical needs Work from specifications and blueprints Assign and supervise helpers, apprentices or other semi-skilled workers Plan work schedules Place orders for necessary materials, supplies and equipment to perform work Provide technical advice to supervisory personnel Possess knowledge of materials, supplies and equipment related to this field Perform other related duties as required, as well as all other duties as assigned A complete application packet must be submitted through the online application system prior to the closing date in order to be considered for this position.
