Pipelayer Laborer
Location : Utah County
Salary:
Pay is $20-$28, Depending on Experience
Job Description : Come join our Concrete and Excavation Team! We are looking for an experienced excavation pipelayer to help with our excavation work.
We work in Salt Lake County and Utah County. This position's schedule varies but is typically Monday to Friday 7am-4pm.
You will also be eligible for benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401k plan with match, and paid time off (PTO)
Responsibilities:Looking for reliable and dependable person with pipe laying footing excavation, grading and utility installation experienceThe ideal candidate will be responsible for laying pipes on a construction site, ensuring that the project is completed efficiently and safelyExcavate existing ground pipes and debris using manual tools as required.Direct pipes into position while the equipment operator adjusts them using chains or guide wires.Secure pipes with chains or guide wires.Cut and connect pipes with various tools, lubricants, and adhesives.Construct couplings, connectors, and mechanical joints using the necessary parts and tools.Set up and calibrate laser levels, tripods, and pipe lasers.Shovel earth to prepare trenches for pipe installation.Work at elevated heights and in trenches, often in harsh weather conditions.Coordinate with other construction workers to complete projects safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean and orderly construction site.Requirements:
You must be reliable, responsible and prioritize the safety of yourself and your team.Must have a valid US driver’s license and reliable form of transportation to and from the job sites.This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.Candidates must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening and background checkThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50 lbsBenefits:
