CDL Driver

CDL Drivers transport goods to and from specified locations within a designated geographic area. Ensuring that materials are well secured and that deliveries/pickups/jobsite specific functions are completed in a timely manner.

What Do You Offer Us?

Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment

Ability to move and drive tractor trailers or truck and trailer combinations

Perform safety checks of brakes, steering column, lights, and mirrors prior to each leg of journey to ensure road readiness

Follow and maintain loading protocols

Inspect trailers before and after loading

Assist in unloading cargo when delivery sites are understaffed, maintaining product quality throughout conveyance

Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and highway authorities

Must be able to drive without restrictions

Other related duties and projects as assigned

What is Required?

Class A CDL License

Two years of experience working as a CDL driver with no safety incidents on record

Flexibility to travel

Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs

Experience working in construction is a plus

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability and willingness to travel as needed

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Prolonged periods standing and walking

Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery

Must be able to see to visually inspect machines and verbally communicate

Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
