Essential Duties:
Inspect electrical systems (equipment, wiring, fixtures, components, etc.) identifying/addressing hazards/issues and ensuring functionality and Electrical code complianceTroubleshoot electrical systems to identify and address root cause of malfunctionsTest and validate proper operation of equipment after repairsUtilize various test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, scanners, etc.)Perform corrective, preventive maintenance & calibrationsRead & interpret blueprints/design schematics to comprehend the system design intent and to provide correct service and repairsProvide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.Diagnose varying PLC/robotic/system faultsMaintain safe and clean working environmentComply with company procedures, rules, and regulationsAll other duties as assigned by SupervisionJob Skill & Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical systemsAbility to read & interpret blueprints/design schematicsStrong verbal and oral communication skillsExperience troubleshooting and repair of PLCs, scanners, cameras, motors, etc.Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environmentAbility to work any shift and overtime as requiredPreferred:
Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environmentRelevant electrician certificationsProven problem-solving & critical thinking skillsFamiliar with Allen Bradley MicroLogix, ControlLogix and SLC controllers & systems;Familiar with Siemens controllers & systemsAbility to read & interpret PLC logic
