A-1 Electrical Contractors Inc. is currently expanding its electrical specialists team. A-1 is seeking experienced commercial electricians to join our Greater New Orleans and North Shore projects on a full-time basis.
Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electric system.Skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.Skilled in New Commercial ConstructionSkilled in both verbal and written communicationRequirements and Qualifications:
Completed electrician apprenticeshipLarge Scale Commercial/ Residential projectsProficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codesValid Class D licenseAbility to read blueprintsMust be able to comply to a criminal background check and drug testPreferred:
CDL class A licenseOSHA 10 certifiedPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.Must be able to climb ladders.Benefits:
