Stay safe and protect your personal information.To learn and perform all of Acuity's foreign, Federal and state income tax operations, with a primary vision of assuming responsibility for the compliance of a complicated multinational U.S. based partnership. The Tax Manager may, at the appropriate time, manage a Tax Analyst. The Tax Manager will report to the Director of Tax.
Preparation of complicated U.S federal and state partnership tax returnsPreparation of tax trial balances to be used in U.S. partnership and corporate tax Returs.Maintenance of partner capital accountsAssist in ASC 740 tax provision functions to include global operations that result in entity level taxesOversight of indirect tax function including sales and use and/or property taxPreparation of Sch M's for disregarded entities and C CorpsCalculation and payment of state estimated taxes.Prepare quarterly internal tax footnote and year end "10K" tax footnote.File annual BPOL returns.Prepare or review quarterly tax reconciliations for subsidiaries.Tax research as needed.Other duties assigned by senior leadership.Job RequirementsPartnership specific experience within a Big 4 accounting firm setting at Tax Manager level.Must have a minimum of 7 years of tax experienceCPA certification and/or Master's degree in taxation.Undergraduate degree in Accounting.Hands on experience with tax provision and tax compliance software platform.Proven experience with ASC 740 Tax provisions.Preferred QualificationsStrong Interest in International tax issues.Experience with Deltek/Costpoint accounting system.Advanced Excel skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
