Position: Office Manager Location: Skokie, IL

As an Office Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the expansion of our business. This franchise is locally owned and operated by David, and he is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as the primary point of contact for his valued customers.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Office Management
Strong customer service orientation - committed to delivering 5-star experience
Exceptional communication skills, particularly over the phone
Strong organizational acumen, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Proficient in managing crews, calendars, and salespeople
Problem solver with a "Can Do" attitude to tackle challenges head-on
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain strong relationships with customers
Oversee daily office operations
Meet with crews in the morning on installation day
Respond quickly to new customer leads and schedule leads for appointments for the sales team
Be a champion for the brand with customers- sell the story and generate excitement
Support local marketing efforts as required
Attend weekly BNI meetings to assist with branding and marketing
Keep the office and warehouse organized and presentable
Assist in the development, management, and delivery of local marketing tactics
Assist with ordering and receiving products and materials
Keep customers informed of installation progress regularly
Bookkeeping skills, a plus
Familiarity with CRM software (E.g. Salesforce, a plus)
Experience in home service industry, a plus
Strive for 5/5 star rating
Compensation: Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 plus bonus opportunities
About the Local Owner:
David is a new franchise owner with a rich background in business and a passion for music. Married with three grown children, David is a devoted Chicago Bears and Blackhawks fan. A lifelong musician, he has been composing, recording, and performing music for years, recently releasing his first solo EP. He also performs in two cover bands around Chicago's North Shore.
David has a diverse career, having owned and operated several businesses. Notably, he ran a school and office supplies CPG company for over 25 years, where he designed, manufactured, and marketed products to mass retailers. After selling that business in 2017, he ventured into a start-up CPG company focused on direct-to-consumer sales.
David’s search for new opportunities led him to franchising, where he found FCI to be the ideal fit. He was drawn to the freedom FCI offers in running the business, alongside the strong support from the franchisor. David is excited to grow his team and looks forward to the next steps.
