Purpose / General Description:

Electrician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair on a variety of industrial equipment, controls, facilities, and infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Install new electrical systems: Install electrical power systems and wiring, maintain documentation, and line drawings, install equipment and machinery, run tests to validate operation and safety.Perform timely service and repairs: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair on controls and power supply for hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical / electronic controls, lighting, switches, automation, etc. Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for completing tasks in a safe and productive manner.Perform maintenance activities: Perform preventative maintenance activities, test to ensure that all repairs have been successfully completed and all safety measures restored.Maintain technical knowledge: Stay current on latest technologies and develop a thorough understanding of repair and maintenance methods.Maintain accurate and timely recordkeeping: Work orders, inspection logs.Maintain / clean equipment: Storage areas, tools, equipment, service trucks, and facilities.Be an effective team member: Always wear PPE and work safely, be an example of good behavior. Follow all work processes and policies. Work cooperatively with co-workers. Productively manage working hours and work schedules to support project schedules.Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED (Associates degree in an applicable technical specialty)2 years' experience in an industrial electrician role maintaining certification to NEC standardsValid NC Driver License, clean driving record, and have reliable transportation to work.Able to lift (up to 75lbs.) and be physically fit to perform tasks and operate equipment.Work independently and diligently with minimal directions, to complete tasks on schedule.Communicate well with team members and supervisor.Apply creativity to solve problems and contribute to the success of the team.

Employees must maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Employees are required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data. Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
