We do not underestimate the power of our employee's ability to have a uniquely positive impact on the people around us.Perks of working at Reeb Millwork:Competitive PayQuarterly Bonus (Eligible Day 1)Comprehensive benefits package includes Medical, Dental, VisionCompany-Paid Life Insurance & Disability401(k) with Employer matchPaid Vacation & Holidays ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMeet standards for quality as set forth by the companyDetermine specifications and validate manufactured products and identify quality concerns:casing reveal & lengthcasing miters flush & tighthinge finish & positiondoor stops flush & tightdoor revealstaples and nails fully sunkensure no material defect (smudge marks, labels on unit, scratches, dents, nicks, chips, etc.)correct hinge or strike chip-outoverall unitMatch unit to label to ensure quality standards (jam width, hinge type, bore specifications, correct insert and/or sill)Thorough understanding of Work Order tickets & the ability to read and interpret Shop drawings and templatesIdentify cause of errors, problems and/or defectsMark items for acceptance or rejection (products and/or materials not meeting specifications)Conceal blemishes in work pieces, such as nicks and dents and make minor repairsDiscuss validation results with those responsible for products and recommend corrective actionsNotify supervisors of production problems and assist in identifying corrective actionAssist in recommending and developing solutions to address quality concerns and to enhance quality/productivityAbility to learn and utilize DMAIC, Lean & Six Sigma tools in roleConduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standardsAssure proper housekeeping and organizationAbide by proper standard of work procedures and safety standards when operating hand tools and other machines or toolsSKILLS & ABILITIES Education:High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) requiredExperience:5+ years production line experience in a manufacturing environment; experience as a millwork assembler or master carpenter is a plus.Computer Skills: MS OfficeCertificates & Licenses:Green Belt training preferredOther RequirementsRead and understand EnglishRead work orders, instructions, and evaluate material specificationsRecognize wood speciesDistinguish colorsThe ability to see details at close range and match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.Must be able to read tape measureAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsGood hand and eye coordinationAbility to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun and other electric tools when necessaryAbility to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-workerWe are proud to have the best team in our industry.
