Salary: $110k-$120k + 10% bonus

Responsibilities

Apply mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds.Oversee employees directly or through supervisors to ensure efficient selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management. In the case of a collective bargaining agreement, participate in negotiations, grievances, or other contract-related activitiesPossess experience in HVAC, electrical, boilers, etc.Manage maintenance and capital projects for the site.Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for optimal asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance.Implement corrective actions identified by key maintenance performance indicators to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.Stay informed about the latest industry regulations and codes related to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation.Ensure adherence to corporate policies and standards in both capital project implementation and daily maintenance.Adhere to Company policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable laws.Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or some college preferred.Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance supervision in a food manufacturing environment.Working knowledge/exposure to food manufacturing equipment, such as filling machines, blow mold machines, air compressors, and conveyors.PLC experience, programming skills a plus.Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systemsWorking knowledge of fabrication, welding, and machining methodsMinimum of 3 years' supervisory experience with maintenance technicians.Experience with CMMSFamiliarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); union, safety, and workers' compensation experienceExperience leading and following safety/security policies and procedures.Ability to follow all sanitation and quality policies and procedures and report and follow through on any deficiencies.Proficient in MS Office Suite and other computer-based applications.
