Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel - Jackson is seeking an electrician who will promote safety as our #1 value while ensuring consistency and reliability in mill operations. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor. The electrician must promote safety for themselves and their teammates. This person

must have the desire to learn and find solutions for safety, quality, and production processes. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards always. Other roles of the electrician include, but are not limited to installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing electrical and automation equipment and improving mill reliability.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC software and hardware.High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.Detailed Selection Criteria:
