Join our Operational Risk team as part of the broader Macquarie Risk Management Group. In this role you will take on a key role in the Second Line of Defense, supporting the Global Macquarie Asset Management business.

What role will you play?
Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityYou will drive a strong risk management culture and provide risk management expertise, independent advice, and challenges to senior management. You will advise regional business and risk teams on the implementation of central policy and framework, as well as provide independent operational risk oversight, insight, and foresight for the Macquarie Asset Management business in the Americas. Partnering with and supporting business and risk teams, you will ensure processes are adequately assessed and controls are effectively designed and operated and aide in the delivery of discrete projects, risk deep-dives and reports.Salary range for this position: $150 - 195k /Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityAbility to work both independently and collaboratively to deliver results, paired with excellent communication skills and an ability to synthesize information to identify themes and priorities for the business.Ability to effectively build relationships, and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management across multiple locations.Solid understanding of Operational Risk Management frameworks and their applicability to investment management.Strong prior experience with Mutual Funds businesses is preferred in addition to familiarity with Operational Risk toolkits (e.g., RCSA, and Scenario analysis), and a working knowledge of other risk management approaches.An inquisitive mindset coupled with the proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, results focused environment, and working knowledge of the regulatory environment in which Macquarie Asset Management operates.#LI-EF1 #LI-Hybrid
