Learn more about our Transformation Story here: Who we are What you will do: Ferroglobe is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, including the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts in our 24/7 operation, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our plant. Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Read and interpret electrical schematics, prints, and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. Work with PLCs, VFDs, motor control circuits, transducers, and transformers. Manage and maintain medium and high voltage equipment, adhering to all safety protocols. Utilize basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical problems in a timely manner. maintain overhead cranes as needed. Climb multiple flights of stairs and ladders to access equipment and perform necessary repairs. Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety regulations and guidelines. What we seek: A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Industrial Electrician, or a degree from an accredited institution with at least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting. Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical prints. Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motor control circuits, transducers, and transformers. Experience working with medium and high voltage equipment. Overhead crane experience is a plus. Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs and ladders. Basic troubleshooting skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as part of our 24/7 operation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
