Job Title: Residential HVAC Service/Install Manager
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
Supervise and lead a team of HVAC service technicians and installers.
Assign work orders, schedule installations, and coordinate service calls.
Customer Service and Satisfaction:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and complaints promptly.
Communicate with customers to explain service options and address concerns.
Installation Coordination:
Oversee residential HVAC installations from planning to completion.
Coordinate equipment delivery, installation timelines, and site preparation.
Service Operations Management:
Manage service operations, including scheduling maintenance appointments and emergency repairs.
Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure installations and service repairs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and system performance.
Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to HVAC technicians and installers on installation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.
Support team members in achieving certifications and staying updated on industry trends.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
Maintain inventory levels of parts, supplies, and equipment needed for installations and repairs.
Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Monitor and control departmental budgets and expenses related to labor, materials, and equipment.
Optimize operational efficiency to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and analyze reports on service performance, project status, and financial metrics.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and equipment warranties.
Customer Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with residential customers, builders, and property managers.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling HVAC products and services.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
