Job Designation
The Quality Inspector III inspects complex components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance instructions. Works under minimal supervision, identifying moderately difficult to complex issues and oversees the satisfactory resolution of customer requirements.Job Core Responsibilities
Conducts a variety of complex examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components, parts at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standardsReviews and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standardsOversees the satisfactory resolution of customer requirements on a variety of complex Quality Assurance issuesPrepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested itemsManages the Internal audits and corrective action follow upsPerforms inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and toolingOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessaryJob Specifications
Education : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or GED required.Certifications : Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related fieldYears Experience :5- 7 years of relevant experienceSkills :Solid knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and ability to act as a resource for colleaguesExperience in Receiving, In-process, source and Final Acceptance inspection proceduresAbility to identify and independently resolve a variety of complex Quality Assurance issuesSkilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignmentCapable of following instructions and applying processes and procedures to standard routine tasksMust be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketchesProficient computer skills in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook)Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $22.50/hour- $33.75/hour
