DESCRIPTION
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local and national electrical codesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately layout electrical systemsInstall and troubleshoot electrical components, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixturesTest and ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems using advanced testing devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopesWork alongside other trades to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in construction projectsFollow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environmentREQUIREMENTSValid Journeyman Electrician licenseProficiency with power tools and hand toolsStrong knowledge of frame carpentry and building practicesProficiency in working with power tools and hand toolsExperience with low voltage systems and industrial electrician workAbility to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and logic controllersFamiliarity with commercial electrician work and installationsFrequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requestedWilling to wear required PPEOn call rotation
