ProgramsOCCD receives funding from the Oregon Child Care Division, the Department of Human Services, and the Oregon Community Foundation to administer statewide programs as part of an infrastructure plan to encourage and increase comprehensive professional development. Programs are designed to support Oregon's early education and school-age care professionals and to increase professionalism.

Professional Development PlanningAn intentional course of action that responds to professional interests, desire to grow in the field, and the changing demands of work. Child development outcomes are positively impacted by early childhood professionals who participate in quality professional development. A Professional Development Plan prepares professionals to support program quality, access scholarships, and engage in training that meets unique needs.Position SummaryThe purpose of this job/position is to provide specific data and record keeping support for the staff and participants of the programs of OCCD including the Data Entry & File System.

This is a limited duration position ending on 6/30/25. The position may be renewed, subject to available funding.Minimum Qualifications from ClassificationCompletion of courses or training in Office Technology;

OROne year of general clerical experience which included typing, word processing, or other generation of documents;

ORAn equivalent combination of training and experience.Additional Minimum Qualifications for this PositionOne-year general office experienceExperience with word processing, data input and customer/public information servicePrevious experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-project office environmentAbility to understand and work with a variety of programs and individualsPreferred Qualifications

Total Compensation Range & Benefits StatementThe starting salary rate for this position will be between and $16.60 and $17.80 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
