CAM Operator - 2nd shift

Job Description:
The CAM Operator will prepare CAM programs for individualized dental prosthetic products that includes but not limited to crowns, bridges, Procera Implant Bridges, overdenture bars, abutments, surgical templates. We utilize several CAD/CAM software packages, such as Powermill, Hypermill, and Magics. Operators will be required to visually inspect all incoming files for products to be produced to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
Prepare all CAM files for all Nobel Biocare product lines.Receive and inspect all incoming orders to ensure the product design constraints are not violated.Make Design modifications, as approved by QA and customer requests for all overdenture bars that do not meet design constraints.Communicate with Customer Service to resolve customer issues.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and Manager's verbal and written instructions.Support the milling operation for all products on 5-axis milling machines.Register customer re-make files via SAP.Monitor the order management SAP inbox and manufacturing (PIC) report.Act as troubleshooter on 1st level CAM issues as related to manufacturing.Work in conjunction with manufacturing engineers, Group Managers and Team Leads on solving problems in production as well as continuous improvement of workflow and procedures.Work as part of a team to improve manufacturing processes through Kaizen.Qualify all products produced according to Quality and Product Specifications/RequirementsMaintain safety policies and procedures, including 5S initiatives and housekeepingAttend and participate in Daily Management / Safety Committees / Training as requiredJob Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of related job experience required.Capable of PC-standard software (MS-Office) required.Basic knowledge in programming code (Fanuc and/or Heidenhain) and CAD/CAM (Open Mind, Delcam) required.Good analytical and communication skills requiredWell organized and structured personality with strict follow up routines.Must be fluent in EnglishMust be willing to work overtime depending on business demands.Certificate courses on CNC-Programming and/or CAD/CAM preferred.Minimum two or more years of CNC machining experience on milling machines controlled by Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Roeders preferred.Experience in high precision production (die making), pharmaceutical production, medical device, aerospace, automotive or regulated industry preferred.Basic knowledge of SAP preferred.Practitioner when action is required to solve problems with the machines.High level of interpersonal skills.
